Between 10 & 11 pm the moose, sometimes several, tends to show up in very close vincinity to the hut. It’s always exciting and never gets boring. The challenge is to get a good picture without scaring him (a male in this case) or her or even them.
One of the friends you will make here is Bert. He follows you around whenever you come out of the hut. Clearly because your feet are stirring up the insects he feeds on, but as a humans with a heart we like to believe he follows you because he likes you.Continue reading “our house bird Bert…”
A rare sight – a bat hunting in broad daylight. This should solve the mysterium about bats being vampires. vampires do not survive in sunlight 😉 – or is that an urban myth too?
